As the clock reaches 23:59:59 on the night of 22nd September
it'll be that one tick of the seconds hand that confirms that now I'm
officially an adult. With that small hand moving an insignificant distance my
life will change significantly.
My journey which commenced from the 23rd
of September at approximately 7 A.M. in Thailand has had its significant ups (me
gaining prestige in sports, beating people’s expectations) and downs (regular illness, getting sent out of class, the usual)
and was one amzing experience will now be over.
GOODBYE CHILDHOOD
HELLO ADULTHOOD
Adulthood is a period
in one’s life which they wait for most eagerly as it is the age of the
destruction of all restrictions. One can enter a theatre legally and watch a
rated r film or drive a vehicle and even gain the right to vote.
I do know that it’s all coming suddenly and
slowly at the same time. I should be the most excited or anxious I’ve ever been
but I am surprisingly calm. I guess that’s good?
Well is it??? Calm
well one would always be calm, as they do not know what awaits them in the vast
unknown. Hopefully like my 18 year journey of childhood my entry to the great
unknown will prove to be fruitful and an enjoyable, enlightening and amazing
journey.
